Acting Minister of Defense, Ejup Makedonci, participated in the 35th meeting of the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine, held at NATO Headquarters in Brussels.

According to Makedonci, the meeting was attended by about 50 defense ministers from NATO member states and partner states, where the latest security developments and the current situation in Ukraine were discussed.


The meeting was led by German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, and United Kingdom Defense Secretary Dan Jarvis.

During the discussions, the participants reaffirmed their support for Ukraine in defending its sovereignty, freedom, and territorial integrity in the face of Russian aggression.

The Macedonian stressed that the Republic of Kosovo remains committed to standing alongside its partners and allies in support of global peace and security.

On the sidelines of the meeting, he also held meetings and discussions with NATO officials and defense ministers from partner countries, where opportunities for cooperation in the field of defense and current security challenges were addressed. / Telegraph /
