CEC: Around 12 thousand conditional votes and votes from people with special needs

The CEC began counting votes from the diaspora on Friday evening, a process that is expected to last several days.
According to CEC spokesperson Valmir Elezi, more than 85,700 packages supposedly containing ballots were withdrawn from the 23 mailboxes opened for this type of voting.
Most of them have already been evaluated by the CEC voting service and are ready for counting.
Meanwhile, after the completion of the counting of postal votes, the counting of conditional votes and votes of people with special needs will begin.
Conditional voting was enabled in 52 polling stations, where 8,751 voters were registered, while for voting for people with special needs, conducted through mobile teams outside polling stations, 3,144 voters were registered.
Elezi announced that before the counting of these ballots begins, the CEC is scanning the voter lists used in regular polling stations, in order to compare data and identify possible cases of double voting. /Telegrafi/
