Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has testified for the last time in his trial, concluding questioning and cross-examination in 98 hearings regarding the three corruption cases he is on trial for.

Netanyahu's first day of testimony was on December 10, 2024, but the process was repeatedly postponed due to health problems, diplomatic trips abroad, and numerous requests to cancel or shorten the hearings due to urgent security and diplomatic issues requiring the prime minister's attention.

At the conclusion of his testimony, Netanyahu harshly attacked the prosecutors, reports timesofisrael .

"The goal was to thoroughly check everything, to find something; but they found nothing. They interrogated all my relatives and family members, with unbelievable investigative methods. They destroyed families. They were not looking for a crime, they were looking for a person, and they found nothing," Netanyahu was quoted as saying by Channel 13.

Netanyahu is charged with three counts of fraud and breach of trust in cases 1000, 2000 and 4000, as well as one count of accepting bribes in the form of positive media coverage in case 4000.

The trial is expected to continue for several more months, while the remaining witnesses will give their testimonies.

Netanyahu's testimony hearings were held in the Tel Aviv District Court, after the Jerusalem District Court did not have sufficient security measures for the prime minister. The trial will now return to Jerusalem. /Telegraph/
