Di Maria responds to Ronaldo and tells him why he is not the best player in the world

Angel Di Maria has given an interview to Infobae to look at his career and successes with the Argentine national team. 'El Fideo' was also asked directly about his opinion on Cristiano Ronaldo's words in his interview with LaSexta, in which he claimed to be the best player in history.
The Argentine star has ignored his former Real Madrid teammate, Ronaldo, to give a higher rating to his compatriot, Lionel Messi.
"I already know him, I've been with him for four years. I'm not surprised by Cristiano's statements, he always made those statements, he wanted to impose what he wanted to be, what he always tried to be, to be the best," Di Maria initially said.
"He was born in a generation... at a bad time when another was born who was touched by the magic wand and here he is - the dwarf is here - this is the reality. It shows in the numbers, it shows in everything."
"One has eight Ballon d'Ors, the other five, there is a very big difference with another champion, another has the World Cup. There are many differences, many and then, do you understand me in every minute of the game that one makes an effort in everything and the other plays as if it were in the backyard."
"Everyone knows what Leo is going to do and he achieves the same goal as always and continues to do it. He has been doing the same thing for 18 or 20 years and everyone says 'you know what he is going to do'. Well, mark him if you know what he is going to do. And he does the same thing."
"And he will still be like that at 40, but Cris is like that too, he has always been the same. For me Leo is the best in the world and the best in history without a doubt and then we are at Benfica and he (Cristiano) is one of the rivals," concluded the world champion with Argentina.
Di Maria played with Cristiano and Messi
Di Maria is one of the players who can boast of having played with Ronaldo, with whom he spent four seasons at Real Madrid, and Messi, with whom he played in the Argentine national team and also at Paris Saint-Germain.
Together with Cristiano he won two Copa del Rey, one La Liga and one Champions League, while with Messi he has won a World Cup, two Copa Americas, as well as one Ligue 1. /Telegraph/
