Slovenian magazine Suzy has issued a public apology to the First Lady of the United States of America, Melania Trump, after reporting that she worked as a 'female escort' (prostitute) while modeling.
In an article published in the August 2016 issue, it was said that Melania had previously worked for a fashion agency, which also provided 'escort' services to elite figures.

"The text was understood as if Melania Trump had worked as an escort. We have no evidence of this, so we apologize."
"It was not our intention to hurt or offend Mrs. Trump," he wrote, among other things, in the apology published by the magazine.

Melania has also filed a lawsuit against the magazine in question through a Slovenian lawyer.

Born as Melanija Knavs, the 47-year-old is the First Lady of the USA and the third wife of the 45th American president, Donald Trump.
She was born in Novo Mesto, Slovenia and grew up in Sevnica. As a young woman, she worked for fashion agencies in Milan and Paris, while in 1996 she settled in New York.
