Heavy rainfall has caused major flooding and power outages in several areas of Kosovo this week, forcing emergency services to respond to numerous incidents across the country, writes the international news agency Reuters.
According to Reuters, footage from the town of Kuzmin shows submerged cars, flooded homes and firefighters evacuating residents trapped by rising water levels.
Local authorities have deployed emergency teams to assist affected citizens, while the situation remains difficult in some areas due to continued rainfall and damage to infrastructure.
Reuters reports that the floods have also caused problems with the electricity supply, leaving several settlements without power, while authorities are working to normalize the situation.
