Manchester United have shifted their focus to Barcelona's 22-year-old midfielder Marc Casado, seeing him as a potential option to strengthen their squad.
According to reports from various English media outlets, the "Red Devils" have already made an official approach to the Catalan club to obtain information about a possible transfer of the young midfielder.
Until now, United's strategy was mainly oriented towards players who have already adapted to English football.
The shortlist of candidates included names like Carlos Baleba, Adam Wharton and Elliot Anderson, but Marc Casado is reportedly already firmly in the club's plans.
