Barcelona files official complaint against refereeing in Atletico Madrid match

Barcelona have officially filed a complaint with UEFA regarding the refereeing in their Champions League quarter-final match against Atletico Madrid.
In an official statement, the Catalan club stressed that during both matches several arbitrary decisions were made that, according to them, were not in accordance with the rules of the game.
Barcelona claims that these errors were the result of an incorrect application of the regulations, as well as a lack of proper intervention by the VAR system in cases of clear importance.

According to the club, the accumulation of these controversial decisions has directly affected the course of the matches and the final result of the match, causing significant sporting and financial damage.
Through this complaint, Barcelona reiterates its previous requests to UEFA and expresses its willingness to cooperate with the institution, with the aim of improving the judging system and guaranteeing a more rigorous, fair and transparent application of the rules of the game.
We recall that the Catalan club had filed a similar complaint after the first match, but it was rejected by UEFA on the grounds that it was "unacceptable." /Telegraph/
