Rooney reveals his best and worst team-mates during his career

Manchester United and England legend Wayne Rooney has named his best and worst team-mates during his professional football career.
Rooney retired from football in 2021 to end a 19-year professional career that saw him become United and England's record goalscorer.
He won 16 trophies while at Old Trafford, including five Premier Leagues and a Champions League, and spent time as England captain following the 2014 World Cup.
Rooney had two spells as a footballer at boyhood club Everton and ended his career at Derby, where he later became their manager.
Throughout his career, the English star played alongside some of the greatest players of his generation, including Cristiano Ronaldo, Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs, Rio Ferdinand and more.
Now, the current manager of Championship side Birmingham has revealed his best team-mate and the player he found most difficult to play alongside.
Speaking in an interview with Rob Burrow with England rugby legend, Rooney explained: "My best teammate, I would say Darren Fletcher."
"There were a few, John O'Shea, Wes Brown, Michael Carrick, we were all very close. But Fletch was probably the one we sat next to in the dressing room and shared some really good moments on and off the pitch together."
"My worst teammate, there are many more than you might think. On the pitch, the most difficult was Nani. It was frustrating to play with him."
Fletcher joined United's youth set-up aged 11 and went on to make over 300 appearances for managers such as Sir Alex Ferguson, David Moyes and Louis van Gaal before leaving in 2015./Telegraph/
