The State Police has reacted through a media release, following the protest organized this Saturday by the Democratic Party, where the situation became tense in front of the Prime Minister's Office and the Parliament.

According to the official announcement, the protesters used Molotov cocktails, pyrotechnics and hard objects, causing injuries to 11 police officers, who are currently receiving medical assistance at the Trauma Hospital and the burn unit.


"During today's rally, called and organized by the Democratic Party, as a result of attacks with Molotov cocktails, pyrotechnics and hard objects in front of the Prime Minister's Office and the Assembly Hall, 11 police officers, who were on duty to ensure the smooth running and security of the protest, were injured and are receiving medical assistance."
