Following the publication of footage from the testing of the Kosovar drone "Skifteri", which demonstrates strike capabilities with a range of up to one thousand kilometers, additional details about the testing location and conditions have been clarified.
Ridvan Aliu, the drone manufacturer, has announced to Telegrafi that the testing was not conducted in the territory of Kosovo, but abroad.
"The testing was done outside of Kosovo, at the client's location. The hit is real, but for security reasons and at the request of our client, the footage was taken inverted and with night vision on. I cannot provide more information," Aliu declared to Telegrafi.
According to him, the restriction of information is directly related to security aspects and the agreement with the client, while the project is considered sensitive due to the technological capabilities of the drone.
According to published data, the "Skifter K1" has a flight time of 7 hours and 12 minutes, a range of over 1 kilometers and a payload capacity of up to 42 kilograms.
The publication of footage from the testing of the "Skifter" has aroused great public interest, being considered an important development in the field of defense technology and domestic innovation. /Telegraph/
