Dua Lipa says she suffers from 'impostor syndrome'

The internationally famous Albanian singer, Dua Lipa, recently gave an interview to The Sun.
The creator of the "Levitating" hit admitted during the confession that she suffers from 'Imposter' syndrome or fraud syndrome, which is related to lack of self-confidence.
The 27-year-old further added that she finds inspiration in famous artists or stars who suffer from self-doubt.

"Many times I am inspired by artists who have self-doubt and have some darkness within themselves. And then I wonder to myself, why do I have to feel so much pain to be a lady at the job I do. Sometimes the impostor syndrome affects me badly. Especially when I'm writing songs," she said.
The pop music star emphasized that she is afraid that her acting will not be at the right level, especially when she is under pressure to portray emotional states in front of the camera.
Regarding the appearance in the movie "Argylle", Lipa continued saying: "It was very exciting. But for me these are the first steps in acting. This is the best way to discover yourself.
My biggest fear would be to get a big role and realize that from now on I have to be a real actress and feel all these different emotions on camera."
"While you are creating something, I advise you to have fun during the process. The fear comes when it's time to release that project, because you're not sure if people will like the work you've done. That's how I feel about music. While I'm writing songs I feel really good and I'm in my own world, creating something that makes me very proud. You want to do something you haven't done before and you want to challenge yourself and explore different things through work. I can turn off social media and focus on myself. At that moment, I'm doing something I love", concluded the singer.
Dua last week closed the "Future Nostalgia" tour with a performance in Albania, for the 110th anniversary of Albania's Independence. /Telegraph/
