Political analysts Visar Ymeri and Imer Mushkolaj have commented on the possibility of cooperation between the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) and former President Vjosa Osmani on the eve of the upcoming elections, emphasizing the strategic importance and impact on public opinion.

On the "Debat Plus" show, Ymeri assessed that LDK should make a clear decision about the direction it will follow, analyzing whether cooperation with Osmani would be more beneficial than a single competition as a political entity.

"LDK should put down its pen. Is it better to cooperate with Vjosa in the elections or to come out as they were, as a structure... Now the effect of Vjosa Osmani and her return or her cooperation with LDK, as a public effect, this is an important topic for me. Not how much political power Vjosa has on its own," Ymeri declared.

He emphasized that the main dilemma is not only related to Osmani's political weight, but to the perception that such cooperation could create among the electorate.

Meanwhile, analyst Imer Mushkolaj stated that Vjosa Osmani's political future remains closely linked to LDK, questioning her ability to compete successfully as an independent entity.

"Vjosa Osmani's political fate is directly linked to LDK. I don't see Vjosa Osmani being able to do anything, in terms of the political power she could have if she competed alone in the elections. Her political fate is linked to LDK. Just as the fate of the LDK leader and part of LDK is linked to Vjosa Osmani," said Mushkolaj.

The Chairman of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lumir Abdixhiku, last month commented on the possibility of former President Vjosa Osmani's return to the Democratic League of Kosovo.

Invited to the Rubikon show on Klan Kosova, Abdixhiku stated that Osmani has an undisputed place in LDK.

"When I say that we need the institutionalists, the right-wing, the pro-Western, the learned and the wise of this country, there is no doubt that Vjosa is an essential and very important part of the project and not only that," Abdixhiku said.
