US President Donald Trump's Special Envoy for Special Missions, Richard Grenell, held a meeting with the leaders of the Western Balkan countries yesterday. The Presidency of Kosovo has provided clarifications regarding this meeting and the topics that were discussed.

According to the Presidential Media Advisor, Bekim Kupina, the invitation was for a roundtable titled "US–Western Balkans Roundtable", organized by three representatives of the Trump administration: Richard Grenell, presidential envoy for special missions; Scot Bessent, Secretary of State for the Treasury; and John Jovanovich, president of the EXIM Bank.

The meeting was attended by all six Western Balkan countries, as well as Croatia.

The President of Kosovo joined the discussion in the second part of the meeting, due to other bilateral commitments.

Kupina emphasized to the Telegraph that there were no political discussions at the table.

"The president arrived there in the second part of the meeting due to other bilateral meetings. At the meeting, each country presented its economic potential as an opportunity for cooperation with the Trump administration. There were no political discussions," Kupina added. /Telegraph/
