The Kosovo Police for the Prizren region announced that this morning they received a complaint from a citizen that the suspect BK, 45 years old from Samadrazha, Suhareka, had blocked the "Ramush Kotori" street by placing metal rods embedded in the ground and connected with wire, thus preventing the free movement of residents.

The announcement states that during the police intervention in this case, the suspect attacked police officers with a knife.

On 10.03.2026, at around 08:30, the Kosovo Police received a complaint from a citizen that the suspect BK, 45 years old from Samadrajxha, Suhareka, had blocked the "Ramush Kotori" road in the village of Samadrajxha, by placing metal rods embedded in the ground and connected with wire, impeding the free movement of residents.

Immediately after the report, police patrols responded and arrived at the scene. During the intervention, the suspect attacked police officers with a cold weapon (knife). The police reacted with immediate action, neutralizing the attack and managing to arrest the suspect.

During the arrest process, as a result of violent resistance by the suspect, four police officers suffered minor bodily injuries, but not from the knife. The suspect was arrested and taken to the Police Station in Suhareka, where in consultation with the State Prosecutor, other procedural actions will be taken, in accordance with the Criminal Code and the Code of Criminal Procedure of the Republic of Kosovo. /Telegrafi/
