The coalition of non-governmental organizations Democracy in Action (DnV) has published tonight the preliminary results from the observation of the extraordinary parliamentary elections held on December 28, 2024 and February 9, 2025, presenting the percentages of political entities according to the parallel count.
According to DnV data, the ranking of political entities is as follows:
- VV: 47.91%
- PDK: 21.08%
- LDKs: 13.36%
- BARGE: 5.62%
- SL: 5.5%
- INITIATIVE: 1.88%
Democracy in Action has clarified that these are preliminary results, which do not include votes from the diaspora and conditional votes. It has also been emphasized that the 5% electoral threshold applies to political entities competing for non-reserved seats in the Assembly.
According to the DnV, 1,999,204 citizens were eligible to vote in this electoral process, while the final results are expected to be confirmed by the Central Election Commission after the completion of all legal procedures.
DnV has assessed the electoral process as generally calm and has called for the relevant institutions to transparently conclude the remaining phases of counting and certification of results. /Telegrafi/
