Completed: The Central Election Commission (CEC) has counted over 99 percent of polling stations in the December 28 elections, according to data published by late evening.
According to preliminary results, 2,532 out of 2,557 polling stations have been counted, or 99.02 percent, while voter turnout is estimated at around 44.9 percent of eligible voters.
From the results so far, the Vetëvendosje Movement leads with 49.39 percent of the vote, followed by the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) with 21.04 percent, and the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) with 13.61 percent.
Based on these results, AAK secured 5.69 percent, Serbian List 4.61 percent, and Social Democratic Initiative 1.72 percent of the votes.
The CEC has announced that postal votes, conditional votes and votes of people with special needs have not yet been included in this phase of counting and that the final results will be published after the completion of all legal procedures, reports Telegrafi.
