A case of illegal transportation of wood and failure to comply with the orders of an official was recorded in the village of Binq, Viti, where a person disobeyed police orders and injured two officials.
According to the report, the police unit had stopped a vehicle with local license plates driven by a male suspect, a citizen of North Macedonia.
During the inspection, it was determined that the same person was transporting wood illegally.
The police had ordered the suspect to have the vehicle escorted to the forestry offices, but he refused and defied official orders.
During the attempted arrest, two police officers suffered bodily injuries.
After the interview and by decision of the competent prosecutor, the suspect was released in a regular procedure, while the case continues to be investigated. /Telegrafi/
