Four internationally wanted persons extradited to Kosovo from Hungary, Albania and Montenegro

Kosovo Police has announced that on April 14 and 15, 2026, the extraditions of four persons wanted by international arrest warrants were successfully carried out, in cooperation with the authorities of several countries and through the mechanisms of INTERPOL.
According to the announcement, on April 14, a Kosovar citizen with the initials QI, who was wanted by justice institutions, was extradited from Hungary to Kosovo.
Upon returning to the country, he was handed over to the relevant units in the Gjakova region for further legal procedures.
Meanwhile, on April 15, three more extraditions were carried out. Two Albanian citizens with the initials RB and GH, who were wanted by the justice system in Kosovo, were extradited from Albania. Upon arrival, they were handed over to the Directorate for the Investigation of Human Trafficking for further proceedings.
Also, on the same day, a Kosovo citizen with the initials IA was extradited from Montenegro, who was handed over to police units in the Mitrovica region.
The police announce that the suspects were previously arrested by the authorities of the respective countries, while the extraditions were carried out based on the laws in force and close inter-institutional cooperation between Kosovo and partner countries. /Telegrafi/
