Actor Hugh Jackman's children, 24-year-old Oscar and 19-year-old Ava, are said to dislike their father's new girlfriend, actress and Broadway star Sutton Foster.
"It's been hard on the kids because they've had to welcome Sutton into their father's world, with their own mixed feelings about him and would feel guilty if they got too close to him," a source close to the family said.
"Everything is getting a little messy, but Hugh is hoping time will heal all wounds, so if they manage to get through this holiday season without major problems, they will be more relaxed in the new year," he added, among other things.
Divorced because of an affair?
We recall that the 56-year-old actor separated from actress Deborra-Lee Furness last year after 27 years of marriage and recently started an avalanche of rumors about the reason for their divorce.
Informed sources recently confirmed to Us Weekly that Hugh and Sutton are in a relationship and that the relationship is the reason for the divorce: "A lot of people on Broadway knew, but we didn't say anything because they're both so good.
