During a visit by Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić to the city of Bor, at a meeting with citizens, a serious scene occurred.
A local resident was forced by Vučić – in front of a packed hall and in front of her sick child – to reveal a family secret: that she was not actually the child's biological mother.
The woman, named Gordana Karic, asked to speak about the problems she is having with receiving social assistance for her child, who is sick, has had several surgeries and suffers from heart problems. She said she has not received any help from the system for nine months.
Instead of answering directly about social assistance, Vučić started talking about the procedures and controls of social centers, suggesting that there may be legal obstacles to payments, they write. MEDIA.

Under pressure, she burst into tears and told the boy that she was his aunt, his mother had died, and that she had cared for the child for 13 years, trying to become a legal parent, but that she had been repeatedly rejected.
