Students who blocked the Faculty of Medicine in Novi Sad reacted to the latest scandalous television appearance by the Serbian president.

Aleksandar Vučić was a guest in Bor yesterday, as part of the campaign for the elections he has not yet announced.

And it all fell within the usual few hours of conversations with mostly disgruntled citizens who welcomed the opportunity to complain to the president about their problems, all in the hope that he would perhaps help them.

However, at some point things got out of control.

Speaking to a woman who has a problem with her sick son and the medication he (isn't) taking to treat his diabetes, Vučić rudely tried to get the unhappy woman to explain what the problem was.

Even though the mother repeated several times that she did not want to talk about this in front of the child, Vučić insisted.

And he insisted. And he insisted, clearly losing his patience.

Finally, the mother confessed the painful truth. Under pressure, she burst into tears and told the boy that she was his aunt, his mother had died, and that she had been taking care of the child for 13 years, trying to become a legal parent, but had been repeatedly rejected.

Students were among the first to respond to Vučić's more than shameful performance, saying: "We are living in hell." /Telegraph/
