The Government of the Republic of Kosovo held an electronic meeting today, in which it reviewed and approved a series of draft laws and decisions from various fields.
At this meeting, the Draft Law on Energy was approved, as well as the Draft Law on the Central Inspectorate of Agriculture, Food Safety, Veterinary and Forestry.
The Government has also approved the decision on amendments to tables 3.1 and 3.2 of the Law on Budget Allocations of the Budget of the Republic of Kosovo for 2026, in order to fulfill remaining financial and contractual obligations from the previous year.
At the same meeting, the decision on the accounting adjustment of budget expenditures incurred during the temporary financing period for the first quarter of 2026 was also approved.
According to the announcement, this adjustment is made in accordance with the Law on Public Finance Management and the Law on Budget Allocations, so that expenditures are reflected according to the new organizational structure of the ministries.
The government has emphasized that these decisions aim to better function the financial and administrative system at the executive level. /Telegrafi/
