Sabrina Carpenter provokes with new music video amid criticism for sexualization

Sabrina Carpenter has released a new music video for the song "Tears," featuring her in stockings and underwear, dancing on a pole and crawling on all fours, scenes that have sparked controversy after criticism of the "overly sexual" cover of her upcoming album, Man's Best Friend.
In the clip, she appears in a forest after an accident, before returning to a sensual setting with provocative clothing and erotic lyrics.
The album cover, which features Sabrina on all fours while a mysterious figure pulls her hair, has caused strong reactions, writes Dailymail.
Some called it "pathetic" and "inappropriate," while others defended it, calling it "artistic" and "deliberately provocative."
Despite the controversy, Sabrina is enjoying success. The song "Manchild," released in June and co-written with Jack Antonoff, climbed to number one on Spotify in the US and globally.
The album Man's Best Friend, released a year after the success of "Short n' Sweet", is eagerly awaited.
"Short n' Sweet" spawned three hits that reached over a billion streams each and earned Carpenter six Grammy nominations, where she won two awards: Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Pop Solo Performance for "Espresso." /Telegraph/
