A large-scale anti-drug operation was carried out yesterday in Ferizaj by the Investigation Department, in coordination with the Special Prosecution of the Republic of Kosovo.
In the 24-hour report, the police have provided additional details about this operation, where initially last night it was said that two people were arrested and about 15 kilograms of heroin were seized.
The police have announced that four suspects have been arrested in connection with this case and the seized heroin is 17 kilograms.
According to the official announcement, after an investigative work, the authorities implemented a tactical plan, during which four residential houses were searched along with their accompanying facilities.
During the search, 34 packages of suspected heroin-type narcotic substance were found and seized as material evidence, with a total weight of 17 kilograms and 910 grams.
Two cars, nine mobile phones, two iPads and two DVR devices were also confiscated.
By decision of the competent prosecutor, the four male suspects, citizens of Kosovo, have been taken into custody, while investigations into the case are continuing. /Telegrafi/
