Elbasan police arrested 3 Colombian citizens who were practicing prostitution in 2 apartments in the city of Elbasan.
As part of the operation codenamed "Transit", citizens DP, 20 years old, DM, 18 years old, JD, 34 years old, all three Colombian citizens, were arrested for the criminal offense of "Prostitution".
Also, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office where criminal proceedings were initiated against citizen MJ, 34 years old, owner of the apartment where the illegal activity was carried out, for the criminal offense of "Maintaining premises for prostitution".
Investigations proved that prostitution was practiced in two apartments in the city of Elbasan by foreign nationals, who contacted clients through websites.
During the search of the premises where this illegal activity was carried out, sums of money in various currencies, suspected to have been obtained from this activity, mobile phones and various documents were found and seized as material evidence. /euronews/
