US senator addresses Iranians: Help is coming

Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, a close ally of US President Donald Trump, said aid for Iranian protesters is "coming", just hours after Trump declared that the United States is ready to help Iranians in their fight for freedom.
"PEOPLE OF IRAN: Your long nightmare is about to end. The President of the United States and all who love freedom have seen your courage and determination to end oppression," Graham wrote in a post on X.
He added that Trump's message of "Make Iran Great Again" means that protesters in Iran must prevail over the ayatollahs.
TO THE IRANIAN PEOPLE: your long nightmare is soon coming to a close. Your bravery and determination to end your oppression has been noticed by @POTUS and all who love freedom.

"This is the clearest signal yet that he, President Trump, understands that Iran can never be great as long as the Ayatollah and his aides are in power," Graham said.
At the end of the message, the senator said: "To all those sacrificing themselves in Iran - God bless you. Help is coming."
Graham's statement comes days after he appeared alongside Trump, where Trump was seen wearing a hat with the words "Let's Make Iran Great Again," which some interpreted as a signal of stronger US support for Iranian protesters. /Telegraph/
