Meet the resort in Spain that looks like a replica of the set in the famous series 'Squid Game'

Squid Game is Netflix's newest show, simultaneously becoming the most successful Korean series ever on the movie platform.
While there is so much to love about this series, one thing that stands out is the stunning set design.
The team behind the series had a multi-million dollar budget to create the arena where contestants would play to survive and win a hefty cash prize.
The drama takes place on an unnamed island off the coast of South Korea, while each 'game' takes place in different, specially designed rooms.

One particular set that stands out is the stairs of a corridor on the island, which the masked staff use to transport the contestants between their bedrooms and the rooms where the challenges are held.
If you want to feel like you're on the set of Squid Game, there's a vacation property in Spain you might want to check out.

Director Hwang Dong-hyuk said in an interview that the brightly colored interlocking stairs were inspired by the piece of art, Relativity by MCEscher. But this resort in Spain looks exactly like the set from the series.

La Muralla Roja, located in the city of Alicante, consists of 50 unique apartments connected by a number of colorful staircases.

This post-modern apartment complex was designed by renowned Spanish artist Ricardo Bofill, who used the Greek Cross as inspiration for the angular zigzag shape of the building.
Many of the apartments are owned by residents, and the facility has shops, a sauna, and a restaurant all on the first level, as well as solariums and a swimming pool on the roof terrace. /Telegraph/
