The Chief Prosecutor of the Basic Prosecution Office in Pristina, Zejnullah Gashi, has confirmed to Telegrafi that an order has been issued for the 48-hour detention of the teacher who is suspected of having exercised physical violence against a student at the "Pavarësia" school in Pristina.
"Yes, a 48-hour detention order has been issued," Gashi declared.
The case has attracted great public attention after the publication of images on social media, where the teacher is seen hitting the student, while at one point the student's reaction to him is also visible.
