During the week from March 30 to April 5, 2025, a total of 42 road traffic accidents were recorded in the Ferizaj region.
According to the Ferizaj Regional Police, of these accidents, 13 involved injured people, with 21 people suffering injuries, while 29 other accidents ended only with material damage.
In the same period, the police have issued 1.301 fines for various traffic offenses, and have suspended 20 driver's licenses against drivers who have committed serious violations, for which the protective measure of driving license revocation is foreseen.
The Ferizaj region includes the municipalities of Ferizaj, Kaçanik, Shtime, Shtërpcë and Hani i Elezit.
The police have announced that they will continue with increased activities in the field, with the aim of preventing accidents and increasing traffic safety.
At the same time, citizens are invited to cooperate with law enforcement by reporting any violations through the nearest police station, the "Report the Police" application, or through hotlines.
