The number of active cases in Macedonia is 10,380, while more than half of them or 5,562 have been registered in the last five days alone. One third of the active cases are in Skopje 3,421, while 64 percent are in only three cities – Skopje, Tetovo and Gostivar.
The hospitals in Gostivar and Tetovo are busy, while the patients who are looking for a place are sent to Skopje. Hospital facilities are partially overloaded in Kichevo and Struga.
The Minister of Health, Venko Filipce said yesterday that the citizens should know that until we are all vaccinated, this will not stop and that this is the only salvation.
Otherwise, over 650 thousand citizens have so far received at least one dose of vaccine, and due to the great interest in vaccination, from next week will be opened a vaccination point in the hall “Boris Trajkovski”.
