Why aren't any royals or sheikhs on the Forbes billionaires list?

Whenever we talk about the richest people in the world, names like Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates automatically come to mind.
This is because, almost every time we have checked the list of the richest people in the world, on websites like Forbes - especially in recent years - we see names like Bezos, Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Mark Zuckerberg - and the list continues with many others.
But why are there no names of members of the royal families or sheikhs and princes from Saudi Arabia in these lists?
As is well known, West Asian countries such as Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar are full of wealth, Telegraph reports.
And as a result, many of the rulers and sheikhs in these countries can be much richer and can lead more luxurious lives than Bill Gates, Bezos and many other billionaires. But why are they not included in the Forbes list?
The magazine is said to have a team of more than 50 journalists working to determine their income. The main reason why sheikhs are not on the list is the fact that most of their wealth is inherited from family.
As another reason, it is the fact that to determine the wealth of the rulers and sheikhs in these countries, it is almost impossible.
For example, in 2017, Al-Waleed bin Talal was included in the Forbes list with a fortune of 18 billion dollars.
But after the list was published, he reacted by saying that the data was wrong and that his wealth is many times greater.
So, since then, Forbes has decided not to include members of West Asian royal families in the list. /Telegrafi/
