Daljinder Kaur from Punjab, India, has become a mother at the age of 72, giving birth to a healthy son.

However, the elderly woman admits that it was much more difficult than she thought, while pregnancy and childbirth have left her with high blood pressure and weak joints, Telegrafi reports.

Although it is difficult to raise the child, she has no regrets and will do anything for him.

"I'm tired myself and I can't take care of him properly either. Since he has started to walk slowly, I always have to go after him", said Kaur regarding the case.

For 46 years of marriage, they had not been able to have children, but although her husband is 80 years old, they decided to try artificial insemination.

Initially, their request was rejected, but after all the tests were good, the intervention was performed, which had a positive result.

"The boy was born with a small weight and I did not breastfeed, so he is still under the desired weight. The doctors tell me that he will be healthy", she added. /Telegraph/
