Danes' secret: Why is Denmark the happiest country in the world?

Dan Buettner is a National Geographic explorer and author of the book "The blue Zones of Happiness: Lessons from the World's Happiest People".
This time he explained why Denmark is constantly included in the list of the happiest countries in the world, Telegrafi reports.
First of all we have to keep in mind that Danes are happy because they have low expectations. And nothing could be truer than this.
Every Dane, from the moment they are born, expect free health care and free education.
When they go to university, they expect to be paid to go to school.
If they have children, they expect to have 10 months of paid leave – both parents. And they expect to retire without having financial problems for the rest of their lives.
"What makes Danes happy, I believe, is the fact that the government takes care of all their life needs - nothing can go too wrong in their lives - they are free to pursue a job that really speaks to their passions them," says Dan.
But in fact, Denmark is a country where ambition is not so celebrated. Therefore, people do not feel that they are constantly competing. They are not constantly buying new clothes and cars, and this gives them more time to pursue their interests.
So, Denmark is a country where people are good at architecture and create the best restaurants in the world and the best mobile designs.
Happiness is letting go of the daily stresses of life. This means having free healthcare, free education and a worthwhile retirement – all of which Denmark has! /Telegraph/
