The first Albanian telenovela "People and Fate" towards return? Actor Alfred Trebicka speaks: I believe he will return this year

"People and Fate" is the first Albanian telenovela, produced by Albanian Radio Television.
In the 2000s, it captivated Albanians from all over the world, for the story it dealt with and the perfect acting of a selected cast of actors.
The story centered on an ordinary Albanian family, with a problematic boy named Flori, who is constantly in the midst of family quarrels and problems, and his two sisters: Erës, who is searching for the fate of life and endangered by the phenomena of time, and Lola - the eldest daughter of the family who is between big questions and the fear of HIV/AIDS infection.
This Albanian story neatly presented in a series was discontinued after two seasons (due to the lack of funds at that time), although director Ylli Pepo and playwright Ruzhdi Pulahu had an idea for its continuation.
But this idea seems to be gaining light in 2023, after the actor of one of the main roles in the series, Arben Derhemi, published a photo on social networks with the great actor Robert Ndrenika. He hinted that talks to bring back the series have begun, but did not reveal more details.

Related to this, Telegrafi asked the actor Alfred Trebicka, who also had one of the key roles in "People and Fate".
At the premiere of the latest film where he is the protagonist in Pristina, the actor did not deign to comment on this news that has excited the fans of the first Albanian telenovela.
"I don't have the right to reveal anything, but I can say that all efforts are being made and there are all chances and possibilities that it will return this year. I don't even know the finer details. I know that it is working very hard to find collaborators, all the components, because a word of mouth is that it will come back again, but it will come back to a different standard. And I'm saying with these works that have had some kind of success in the past, it's a bit embarrassing, because it should be higher than what it was. I have faith that it will return this year", Trebicka told Telegrafin.

The actor who played the role of the uncle in the family challenged by the problems of the time, further said that he feels the nostalgia of the character he portrayed in the series, called Betim.
"Of course I have a nostalgia, because 20 years turn into nostalgia - but in the return he will no longer be the first. There will be another dimension. That's all I can say, that's all I can reveal", concluded Alfred Trebicka.

In "People and Fate" other well-known names of Albanian cinematography play, such as: Robert Ndrenika, declared artist of the nation, and Pavlina Mani, declared as a meritorious artist.
Arben Derhemi, Eni Jani, Valbona Imami, Alfred Trebicka and Arta Muçaj - are some of the actors of subsequent roles that make up the main cast of "People and Fate". /Telegraph/
