Students with public call for support for the April 6 protest

Student unions from Albanian universities in the country have called on the media, civil society and civic activists to support the protest announced for April 6 (Monday), which aims to raise its voice against, as they emphasize, an ongoing injustice towards Albanian law students.
In the public appeal, the students express gratitude for the support so far from the media and public opinion, appreciating their role in raising awareness of the issue. They emphasize that this support remains essential even at this stage, when their demands have not yet received concrete solutions.
"Your voice has been essential in raising this issue and in informing public opinion correctly. Today, more than ever, we need this support even more. Law students continue to face an ongoing injustice: the inability to take the jurisprudence exam in Albanian, a right guaranteed by the Constitution and law, but denied in practice for years."
According to the reaction, the main problem remains the inability to take the jurisprudence exam in Albanian - a right that students argue is guaranteed by the Constitution and the laws in force, but which in practice has continued to be denied for years.
For this reason, student unions have announced a peaceful protest on April 6, starting from the Stone Bridge in Skopje, starting at 12:30 p.m. They invite all social factors to become part of this initiative, either through fair and impartial reporting, or through active participation in the protest.
"Your role remains irreplaceable as a voice of truth and as a catalyst for social change," reads the students' appeal, who demand that their issue not remain silent, but receive the attention and solution it deserves.
The call was signed by the student unions of the University of Tetova, Mother Teresa University and the South East European University.
