The short and bitter life of the Galaxy Note 7 is now officially over. However, Samsung is trying to boost the image of the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge by bringing some of the software features of the Note 7 to these two devices.
While this may not replace the Galaxy Note 7's damage, at least the S7 won't explode unexpectedly.
S7 and S7 Edge owners are starting to notice some new updates to their devices that have brought impressive features that were only part of the Note 7.
These features include the backlit display, custom photo features, a choice between a digital or analog clock, and new notifications.
However, not all Note 7 features can be integrated into the S7 as the latter is not equipped with the S-Pen electronic pen.
Also, some new features don't work properly during the initial launch.
One of them is Samsung's e-mail application that has encountered a problem with notifications on the S7 and S7 Edge.
