Ralf Rangnick offered nine named players to Man Utd but they didn't buy them - some of them are shining

Manchester United fans still have a lot of respect for Ralf Rangnick, as he did everything he could to set the club towards a brighter future than it is currently experiencing.
The 65-year-old German, who is now in charge of the Austrian national team, was appointed interim coach of the Red Devils in November 2021, but was unable to show his worth.
He was set to stay at the club as a consultant to support Erik ten Hag in his inaugural season in England, but left soon after the Dutchman's arrival.
Rangnick, although he had not received the necessary points as a coach during the matches, he tried to stabilize the ship that continued to sink after the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson.
The great work he had done in recruiting at RB Leipzig and Red Bull Salzburg, failed to seal him at Man Utd.
However, there were a number of names he recommended to the club during his short spell, although none of them materialised.
"We were discussing with players like Josko Guardiol and Christopher Nkunku from RB Leipzig. They were names that were realistic and could come."
"We also spoke with Alvaro Morata, Luis Diaz, Dusan Vlahovic and Erling Haaland when they were still on the market. But the club decided to rebuild the team under the new coach," Rangnick said.
But the list does not end here. Some have made alternative high-profile moves, and some are still pending, so without further ado, let's take a look at which names Rangnick had on his list.
