Croatian President on Serbia's Armament: They Are Also Being Supplied with Assault Weapons, This Concerns Me

Croatian President Zoran Milanović attended the opening of the first "Sanjin Španović" chess tournament in Zagreb.
After the opening, he also gave a statement to the media. From the beginning, he commented on the arming of Serbia.
"Buying missiles? This is their sovereign decision. I must admit that I don't know what they want to achieve with that kind of weaponry. They spend a lot. God forbid where all these funds come from and whether everything has been paid for. The fact is that China sold them something. Why is Serbia doing this - to some extent I understand that they want to have a strong defense system, but they are also supplying themselves with offensive weapons. This also worries me, but on the other hand, Croatia is in NATO and the European Union," Milanović said.
He also added that Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic is making unusual statements, Telegrafi reports.
"I have already warned you once that no memorandum of Croatia, Albania and Kosovo on cooperation in the field of the army signed by the minister is any kind of military alliance. Here he is two days ago talking about the plan of Croatia, Kosovo and Albania to attack Serbia. This is a very interesting man. How do we attack? With what? We do not have an army for this. Then you can take my word for it, after all, I decide on this. This is not a good thing to hear, apart from the fact that it is stupid," said Milanovic.
"I didn't see that Plenkovic in his letter to the NATO Secretary, when he is already suing and complaining about Serbia, also complained about Israel, which, through its actions, enables Serbia to be twice as strong. A Chinese missile is one thing, a Russian blocking system is another. Bad things, but Israel is there to make everything better, more pleasant and more beautiful, and it is our strategic ally," Milanovic said.
