Barcelona star Robert Lewandowski believes he can still play active football for the next three or four years.

This means that the Polish striker intends to retire shortly before he turns 40.

"I don't think about what I've already won or what I've already done. I still have that feeling and that passion inside me", said Lewandowski first.

"I think I can play football for another three or four years, because physically I feel very good", concluded the Polish striker.

Lewandowski has a contract with Barca until the summer of 2026, meaning he could retire at Camp Nou that year, given that it will be almost three years from now.

The Polish striker has so far scored 41 goals in his Barcelona career. He has played 63 games in all competitions. /Telegraph/
