The Italian Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni, has welcomed the ratification by the Albanian Parliament of the agreement for immigrants between Albania and Italy.
Through a message on platform X, Meloni thanked Prime Minister Edi Rama, the institutions and the Albanian people for friendship and cooperation.
"The Parliament of Albania ratified today the cooperation agreement with Italy against illegal immigration and human trafficking. We thank Prime Minister Edi Rama, the institutions and the Albanian people for friendship and cooperation", wrote Meloni.
