JD Vance has commented on the recent process of peace negotiations with Iran, revealing details about the 10-point proposal that the Iranians presented.

According to the US vice president, "the first proposal was so strange that we thought it could have been written by ChatGPT" and was immediately thrown in the trash.

Meanwhile, the second, more reasonable proposal was based on direct talks between American and Pakistani officials, and it is this document that the president was referring to until yesterday.

However, Vance has revealed that there is a third proposal, more maximalist than the first, which has been circulating on social media, adding complexity to the negotiation process.

This development shows that the negotiations are moving through a spectrum of ideas, from the most reasonable to the most extreme, as the United States tries to reach a lasting agreement.

Vance will represent the US in peace negotiations with Iran, which will begin on Saturday in Pakistan. /Telegraph/
