While Real Madrid are going through one of their worst spells in recent times, James Rodriguez is having one of the best moments of his career under Jupp Heynckes at Bayern Munich.
Zinedine Zidane risked a lot with his loan, but it looks like Real will regret letting him leave.
James has never criticized his former manager, but the Frenchman was asked about the dangerous winger in a press conference and his answer was clear.
"I've never had any problems with James," he said.
But if he's missing anything, it's Rodriguez's contribution.

His poor form at Real has often been talked about, but the stats tell a different story for his time in Spain where he scored 17 goals and made 18 assists in his first season, eight goals and 10 assists in his second and 11 goals and 13 assists in his third season.

Bayern Munich are benefiting from his left foot, as was evident a week ago when he scored from a free kick - the same as he did at Real Madrid. Few can compete with him in this regard and his teammates are aware of this, turning to him as an option when they need a goal from distance.

If the team lacks anything this season, it is the Colombian's character in the dressing room seeing as he was a much-loved player. It is natural to see messages in his audience with former and current teammates dancing, joking and the joy he brings to the team, something that has been missing at Real this season.

In many games last season, James was the one who managed to have a substantial impact even though he was given few minutes by Zidane. His goal in the last El Clasico just seven minutes from time though did not stop his team from losing with one man less on the field. History repeated itself time after time last season with James and Morata saving the team when things didn't go to plan.
The game between the lines
His role at Real was one that is now being performed by Isco and Marco Asensio, who have benefited more than anyone from his departure, but their performances have been poor for some time now.
