Actress Millie Bobby Brown is undoubtedly one of the most famous faces of Gen Z.

However, in recent weeks, fans have seen a change in the appearance of the star of the series Stranger Things, writes DailyMail.

New photos released by Millie to promote her fashion brand show the 20-year-old with fuller lips and more voluminous cheeks.

Fans on social networks, the actress of Enola Holmes, may have had cosmetic surgery.

While some of the comments were positive, others suggested that the subtle changes made her look 40 years old.

"Her face looks like she's weighed down with fillers," said another.

"I feel so bad for the societal pressures that push such young women to do this," said a third comment.

"She looks much older than her age, it seems as if she is robbing herself of the stages of life."

Now, cosmetic doctors have spoken about it and whether or not fans are right in their suspicions.

"Her cheekbones look higher and her lips look fuller, which could be a result of the filler," Dr Paul Banwell, a plastic and cosmetic surgeon, told MailOnline.

However, he added that any work she has done is delicate and is not 'burdening' him, as some social media commentators have suggested.

The star's changed appearance could simply be due to 'natural ageing', Dr Banwell said.

"Your bone structure and facial shape will change as you grow, especially from such a young age of 12."

Dr Banwell warned that Bobby Brown is at risk of getting too many fillers. /Telegraph/
