The low temperatures that dropped to -2°C in the city of Vlora on January 1st did not stop brother and sister, Gezim Brahimaj (57 years old) and Shpresa Tafili (60 years old), who consider seawater as a kind of therapy against diseases, as they themselves say.
Even in these cold winter days, they have challenged not only the low air temperatures, but also the cold sea water, by going for a swim in the coastal area of Vlora. According to them, the sea is an inseparable part of their lives.
Gëzim said that they have never been separated from the sea, neither during summer nor during winter, not even on days with extreme temperatures like today.
