"Miracle in Cell No. 7" is the film that captured everyone's hearts during the quarantine months.

The film, which is called "Yedinci Kogustaki Mucize" in Turkish, deals with the story of a child and her father with mental disabilities. This film project is part of the big media house, Netflix.


After breaking viewership records, "Miracle in Cell No. 7" has already been proposed by Turkey as the country's representative film in the nomination race for "Oscars 2021".

This news was announced by the actress who plays Ova in this film, Nisa Sofiya, through a post on the Instagram social network.

She has shared with her followers a photo of the movie's poster, writing in her caption that the movie is the proposal of the Turkish Cinematographic Center for the nominations of the Academy Awards.

"The nominee for the best international film for the 'Oscars', Turkey, Mehmet Ada, he was the director of our film," wrote Sofiya on Instagram.

Otherwise, Kosovo has submitted the film "Exile" as a proposal to the "Oscars 2021" nominations, while Albania has submitted the film "Open Door". /Telegraph/
