Real Madrid right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold could return to the Premier League sooner than expected, but not to Liverpool.

According to a source close to the royal club, Central Defense, Alexander-Arnold, could leave Los Blancos in the summer transfer window of 2026.

The 27-year-old Englishman has not yet fully settled in at his new club, so his future remains uncertain.

Manchester City, Manchester United and Newcastle United could reportedly offer up to €40m to sign Trent in the summer of 2026.

For his part, Alexander-Arnold does not want to leave Real Madrid and the club is not yet ready to consider the offers on the table.

Everyone in the team believes in Alexander-Arnold and thinks he needs to play more games to adapt to his new club.

The defender joined Real Madrid in the summer of 2025 as a free agent. This season, he has provided one assist in 11 matches at club level. /Telegraph/
