The man killed in Podujevo was an exile, imam Berisha: He was a devout believer, he came to Kosovo for Eid

The tragic murder of Ilaz Brahimi, which occurred last evening, has shocked his family and friends.
Among many messages of condolence, imam Hasim Berisha (who also works in the diaspora) has shared a touching memory from their last conversation, exalting the figure of the deceased as a devout believer.
Through a post on the social network Facebook, Berisha revealed that Brahimi had headed to his hometown with a noble goal: to celebrate the Eid holiday with his mother.
Hoxha remembered the moment when Ilazi told him the reason why he was never absent from Kosovo during the holidays.
"We received with sadness the news of the death of our brother Ilaz Brahimi. His death shocked us. He was a devout believer and a very good boy. The day before he left for Kosovo, he told me: 'Hoxha, every Eid I go to Kosovo only for the sake of my mother,'" Berisha wrote.
Berisha revealed that they had spent the last time together in worship, not knowing that it would be their last greeting.
"We spent the Night of Power together until morning, then he left to never meet us again in this world. May God have mercy on you, Ilaz, may Allah unite us in His paradise," he wrote. /Telegraph/
