Today (Monday) it is known that the well-known Turkish actress, Semra Dinçer, has passed away.
The artist, who fought for years with lung cancer, is said to have died at the age of 56.
This was announced by Haluk Levent through a post shared with followers on social networks.

"It was from lung cancer. For two years. We just lost actress Semra Dinçer. Condolences to her family and loved ones," the post reads.
Who was Semra Dinçer?
Semra Dinçer was born in 1965 in Ankara.
She began her acting career in 1980 at Ankara Art House. “Ali”, “Zerk”, “Bana Bir Ask Sarkisi Soyle”, “Filler ve Çimen”, “Beni de Gotur”, “Turkish Passport”, “Dongel Kerhanesi” - were just some of the recent films she starred in.
Dinçer has also participated in many series. Some of these are as follows: "Vuslat", "Istanbullu Gelin", "Emanet, Gorus Gunu Kadinlari", "Dinle Sevgili", "Maskeli Balo", "Kavak Yelleri", "Kardelen", etc.
