The campaign to clean up Malisheva begins, Kastrati: We aim to become the cleanest municipality in the country

In the Municipality of Malisheva, a month-long environmental cleaning campaign has begun with the motto "For a Clean Malisheva", which will last throughout the month of April.
The symbolic opening of this action was made by the mayor, Ekrem Kastrati, who emphasized the importance of raising awareness for environmental protection and institutional commitment to a cleaner environment.
"Today, the general environmental cleaning campaign has begun in the territory of the Municipality of Malisheva. In addition to raising awareness about environmental protection, the month of April has also been declared the month of environmental cleaning," Kastrati declared.
He announced that the goal of this action is to transform Malisheva into the cleanest municipality in the country.
"We aim for Malisheva to become the cleanest municipality in the country," he emphasized.
According to him, a special task force has been formed to achieve this goal, led by the deputy mayor, Vesel Krasniqi, which includes responsible institutions at the local level.
The cleaning action was joined by directors of municipal directorates, officials, representatives of local institutions, schools and the Islamic Community, while the "Eco-Region" unit in Malisheva also provided support.
As part of this action, the removal of an illegal inert waste dump on the Banjë-Senik road has also begun, where a sign prohibiting waste dumping has also been placed.
Mayor Kastrati thanked all participants and businesses that have contributed to this initiative, offering support with machinery for cleaning public spaces. /Telegrafi/
